Sorry its been so long...
Hey guys! Sorry I havent been around much, a lot has changed in my life (some good, some bad) but I just wanted to check in because I miss you all terribly! I hope to start making regular visits to this site again and hopefully start making art again. I have been struggling with a chronic and progressive illness which causes me pain and drains me of my energy so I put every bit of what I have into my family. My kid is in the first grade now and school/activities are very demanding and take a lot of my time these days. I wanted to thank all of the amazing friends and watchers who have stuck by me through everything, i really appreciate you mor
Rest In Peace Grim
I logged in this morning to check my messages, and my heart shattered in pieces. One of my best friends on DA, Damien Grimm aka inknalcohol (https://www.deviantart.com/inknalcohol) has passed away. He was such a brilliant, wonderful and kindhearted person and words can not describe how much he was loved in his real life and on DA. His sarcastic humor and sharp wit always put a smile on my face as did his letters and cards that randomly showed up in my mailbox... Funny thing is... He used DA coding even in hand written notes. I loved that about him.
Damien was a brilliant writer and did amazing things for the lit community on DA, which he served with all his heart even after hi
Sorry it's been so long...
Hey everyone. i know it has been a long time since I have checked in and I am truly sorry for not getting back to your messages sooner or keeping up with the groups. I have been having a rough go of things this past year and I have not been able to give the online community as much attention. Now that my daughter is almost 5, she has been adjusting to school and I have been working extra hard to pay for tuition among other things. It has been a big year of changes and I have lost a few important people in my life which has been devastating for me. Ive just been sad, worried and extremely stressed out about my family's future. When real life g
New artwork in progress...
Just a little sneak peak at a pen and ink piece I have been working on. I think I am going to do some more traditional works for a while as I forgot how much I loved it. Hope to finish this one soon....

1. Name three (or more) deviants who you think are outstanding contributors to the DA community and explain why they deserve to be recognized.
shehrozeameen, a young writer and owner of a lot of critique groups. He helps people a lot by giving them constructive feedback on writing works and photography as well. He also has the power to encourage people to give comment for comment.
3wyl (hope you do not mind me taking a volunteer here). She is one of the most helpful people here I know. She also does a lot concerning critiques and comments in relation to photography and writing (6-word-stories). Encouraging commenting helps improving peoples' work.
NightSheepStalker (well by mentioning him, I also must mention his wife xColorSplashx) They both run two groups with special programs helping unknown and beginner artists to get their works recognized and gives them opportunities to improve their skills by hosting a group's own academy concerning all arts from writing, traditional, photography, some sorts of digital. Really some good and great work.
2. Name two (or more) deviants preferably with 200 watchers or less who you think deserve more attention for their work.
shifter124 and TrentenCunningham
But you have stated or more ... Here comes the more under 200 watchers: AngryBob48, CreeppingDeath, KakashiChidoriKun, Midnightdragonchaser, OmegaTheOmniscient, painted-leaf, redstarrose, SakuraAkuma16, SamiRaePhotography, Simdrew1993, jazewel, DannyMechanist, Thelunarwriter, tyler9862, Triforcaofcourage, Myrddin88, JWA2277
(Hope those are not too many - all less than 200 watchers, most of them less than 100 watchers, some of them members of many of years).
3. Name one artist (or writer) who you think deserves a Daily Deviation and provide three thumbnails of their work.
redstarrose
4. Tell me the name of one fellow deviant that you are thankful to call a friend and tell us why they are awesome!
DragonsChest, he was the first one who faved and supported my writings. At first, I felt honoured so much as he is a professinal writer who faved my little stories, essays and poems. But that encouraged me so much. He helped me also with poetry special forms (nevertheless they still stay very difficult for me and I will stay with free verse except traditional form haiku). I wrote my first Shakespearean Sonnet with his advice, hints and tips. I thought I never would be able to (as a foreigner English ancient special forms are not quite easy for me).
5. Leave a constructive comment on at least three different pieces of artwork and provide links to those comments.
